Antichi Cloniart direction, brand identity, packaging
Antichi Cloni is the brand new line of organic wines from the Umbrian producer Zanchi. The collection is composed by a white wine, a rosé wine and a red wine. The wrapping label system was conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of the ancient labels of liqueurs and spirits and it was inspired by the nineteenth-century advertising graphics.
The identity is clearly strongly represented through typography. In the central area of the label you can notice a strong contrast between tradition and contemporaneity: sans-serif letters placed in a modular layout reminding of the first pixel alphabets. The color palette is minimal and it only consists of two colours: black typography plus a second lively color that stands out strongly with the natural color of the wine.
